JS Corporation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “the Company”) places great value on protecting your personal information and complies with the Act on the Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. Through this Privacy Policy, we inform you about how the personal information you provide is used and secured, and what measures are taken to protect your personal information.

1. Items of Personal Information Collected & Method of Collection

a. Items of personal information collected
To register members, receive inquiries, or request services, we collect the following personal information:
At membership registration: Login ID, password, name, email, home phone number, mobile phone number, address, SNS information
At service request: Address, payment information
During the course of service use or business processing, the following may also be generated and collected: service usage records, access logs, cookies, IP addresses, payment records, records of misuse
Collection sources: Website, paper forms, bulletin boards, email, event applications, delivery requests, telephone, fax, tools for generation of information

2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Company uses the collected personal information for the following purposes:
Execution of contracts related to service provision, settlement of fees for service provision, content provision, purchase and payment of fees, delivery of goods or billing correspondence, identity verification in financial transactions and financial services
Member management: verification of identity through membership services, identification of individuals, prevention of unauthorized use and misuse, confirmation of membership intention, handling of complaints and notices
Marketing and advertising: delivery of event and promotional information, understanding access frequency, tracking and analysing members’ service use for targeted marketing and personalised services

3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
In principle, after the purpose of collection and use of personal information is fulfilled, the information will be destroyed without delay. However, the following information may be retained for the periods specified below for the reasons stated:
a. Internal policy retention reasons
Even if a member has withdrawn, information may be retained for up to 5 years from the termination date of the service contract in order to prevent recurrence of misuse by bad members, support dispute resolution, and cooperate with investigative agencies.
b. Retention due to related laws
If retention is required under related laws (e.g., the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce), the Company retains member information according to the periods defined by those laws:
Records of contracts or withdrawal of application: Preservation reason under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce — 5 years
Records of payment of fees and supply of goods: Preservation reason under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce — 5 years
Records of consumer complaints or disputes: Preservation reason under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce — 3 years
Log records: Preservation reason under the Act on Protection of Communications Secrets — 3 months

4. Procedure and Method of Destroying Personal Information
In principle, once the purpose for which personal information was collected and used has been achieved, the information is destroyed without delay. The procedures and methods are as follows:
Destruction procedure: The information you entered for membership registration etc. is moved to a separate DB (or, in the case of paper documents, a separate file box) after the purpose is achieved, and after being stored for a designated period in line with internal policy and related protection laws (see retention periods above), it is destroyed. The personal information transferred to the separate DB is not used for purposes other than retention unless required by law.
Destruction method: Personal information stored in electronic file form is deleted using technical methods that make reconstruction impossible.

5. Provision of Personal Information
In principle, the Company does not provide users’ personal information to external parties. However, the following exceptions apply:
When users have given prior consent
When required by law or when investigative agencies request it in accordance with legal procedures

6. Outsourcing of Collected Personal Information
To perform services, the Company outsources to the external specialised companies as follows:
Outsourced to: CJ Logistics Co., Ltd. — to perform product delivery
Outsourced to: KG Inicis Co., Ltd. — to perform card payment and escrow services
Outsourced to: KG Mobilians Co., Ltd. — to perform mobile phone payment

7. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them
Users can at any time view or correct their registered personal information, or request deletion of registration.
To view/correct your personal information, click “Change Personal Information” (or “Edit Member Information”). To cancel registration (withdraw consent), click “Member Withdrawal”. After completing identity verification, you may directly view, correct or withdraw.
Alternatively, you may contact the Personal Information Manager in writing, by phone or by email — action will be taken without delay.
If you request correction of erroneous personal information, the Company will not use or provide that information until the correction is completed. If incorrect information has already been provided to a third party, the Company will promptly notify the third party of the correction result so that the information is corrected.
The Company processes personal information that has been deleted or withdrawn at the request of the user in accordance with “Retention and Use Period of Personal Information” above and shall not allow viewing or use of such information for other purposes.
For children under the age of 14, the legal representative has the right to collect or correct the child’s personal information, and to withdraw consent for collection and use.

8. Installation, Operation and Rejection of Automatic Collection Devices
The Company operates cookies and similar devices that store and retrieve your information from time to time. A “cookie” is a very small text file that a website server sends to your browser and stores on your computer’s hard drive.
Purposes of using cookies, etc.
To analyse the login frequency and visit time of members and non‑members, understand users’ preferences and interests, track visit patterns, assess event participation or visit counts, and provide target marketing or personalised service
You have the option to refuse cookie installation. You can set your browser so that all cookies are accepted, each time a cookie is stored you are prompted, or all cookies are refused.
How to refuse cookie installation
You may refuse cookies by selecting the browser option you use to allow all cookies, prompt you each time a cookie is stored, or refuse all cookies.

Note: If you refuse cookies, service provision may become difficult.
